Charming room with a nicely arranged welcome tray featuring decaf tea, coffee, and a slice of lemon cake.
Thin walls let in sound from the room downstairs, impacting privacy a bit. Weak shower flow, which even stopped partway through—a bit annoying. no electrical outlets near the bed, making charging devices a hassle.

attractive courtyard, interesting independent shops, amazing architecture
No control over the weather making it impossible to enjoy the courtyard in the evening or sit outside in the morning!!! The accommodation has a slight damp feel upon entering, which could be a concern for sensitive guests.

Staying at Lucy's Tearoom was a real delight. The room felt newly renovated, clean, and spacious. The welcome tray with decaf tea, coffee, and a slice of lemon cake made me feel at home. Breakfast was a highlight—made to order, with fantastic avocado and scrambled eggs on toast. The location right in the heart of town was perfect for exploring. I did notice a slight mustiness when I first arrived, but opening the windows helped. the shower had a bit of a weak flow, which was a little frustrating. I can't wait to return soon!

Had a great time with friends! The place is lovely, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We enjoyed cycling to the beautiful gardens nearby and the local market. We also appreciated the clean rooms and the delicious flapjacks left for us. It’s in a perfect spot for exploring the area and offered everything we needed.
The only downside was the steep stairs, which were a bit challenging, especially after a long day of cycling.

The staff offered incredible service, from the warm welcome to the attentive breakfast team! My room felt bright and airy, making it a lovely retreat after a day out. The breakfast was a highlight—really enjoyed the scrambled eggs with avocado! A sweet little touch was the welcome tray featuring a delightful slice of lemon cake that made me feel at home.
The shower had a weak flow, which made for a less than perfect experience.
